sweden- why not?!

Thursday, March 19
While we were visting Helsingor to see Hamlet's castle, we decided to try and visit Sweden there. So we spent an afternoon in Helsingor's sister city, Helsingborg. (They are the world's oldest sister cities.) It was a short 20 minute ferry ride that is free with our amazing Eurail pass. So of course we had to visit!

Helsingborg isn't really one of those big or famous cities, so we enjoyed a leisurely exploration of the area right near the coast. It didn't disappoint.

We found a beautiful park area, Landborgspromenaden. It had some cool, old structures and a pretty garden area overlooking the city by the coast.

I also found the close-up setting on my camera- I really like the challenge of taking a good close picture and keeping the right things in focus. It was good practice for Keukenhof! :)
